Skills Made Easy is a Sheffield City Council initiative which helps all sizes of businesses grow and develop their workforce by accessing the right support at the right time. The skills based service we provide offers practical and impartial advice when it comes to recruiting apprentices, overcoming skills shortages and accessing a range of training opportunities and funding schemes.

Our experienced and knowledgeable account managers are always on hand, helping to guide you through the apprenticeship process – making apprenticeship recruitment simple, easy and clear.

Since the programme was launched in 2013, Skills Made Easy has helped over 1800 businesses enrol over 2800 apprentices throughout the Sheffield City Region. As part of Sheffield City Council we work with a wide range of secondary schools and sixth form colleges to prepare young people for the world of work and have an excellent track record of helping companies find the right apprentice for their business. Our in-depth knowledge of the skills funding system along with our strong links with schools and sixth form colleges make us the first port of call for many employers looking to explore options around apprenticeships and skills funding.
